Rain rain rain.

September 9, 2009

I woke up to Noynoy Aquino’s announcement during Umagang Kay Ganda. He is now going to run for President for the 2010 elections. Come to think of it, I haven’t heard much about this senator and for me that’s a good thing. Most of the politicians we see on TV nowadays are either very rich or in the news, with several scandals on their tails. I think the same can be said for VP de Castro, though I’m not sure if he’s going to participate in the incoming elections. A lot of critics are rising up to the occasion, predicting the outcome if this person or that person will become president.

Really, who are we to judge? We, the people, who can’t learn from our own history. It’s a sad tale, like our history started out when Marcos declared Martial Law.

Today had been rather eventful. Aside from suspension of classes due to heavy rains (by the way, rain became drizzle and died down in the afternoon), traffic had been pretty heavy, especially in the afternoon. Traffic in the Commonwealth-QC Circle area is still not improving and there are still a few flooded areas that already ebbed by this time. It’s a good day to get a few drinks and either finish whatever projects need to be finish or get together with friends for a game of Uno.

Even I am not excluded from the pull of the FB popularity. Loved the games 😀
